Choose the right Incoterm

Define the endpoints precisely
“Door to door” is useful only when both doors and the included work are clear. A quotation should identify the pickup address, delivery address, loading access, unloading responsibility, customs party, insurance request, duties and taxes, and any work excluded at origin or destination.
Information that prevents surprises
- Full pickup and delivery addresses, including access restrictions
- Package count, dimensions, gross weight, and stackability
- Cargo description and any dangerous, fragile, or temperature requirements
- Invoice value, country of origin, and agreed Incoterm
- Supplier contact, cargo-ready date, and required delivery date
